What is “Tap-up Corporate Teambuilding?”

This concept was derived by Co-founders Tom Hughes and Robert Mendenhall. Tom and Robert were assigned together on the DEA Task Force in Southern California. During their careers on the Task Force, they were trained to execute search warrants by using this “Tap-up” concept.

The phrase “Tap-up” is used as a “Positive Signal of Readiness” to the person or persons that you and your team are ready to execute the Search Warrant. It is a non-verbal signal to let someone know you are there to help and to say, “I’ve got your back” during a dangerous operation. Our mission at Tap-up Corporate Teambuilding is to share this practice with our customers in order to develop teams who will be able to plan and execute under pressure and exceed their goals!
